Security and data handling

Where your conversations live, and who can reach them.

Recording every call, email and in-person conversation is a responsibility. This page sets out how we handle it, in language you can paste into a security questionnaire or an RFP response.

Where the data lives

GetBettr does not run on a public cloud. The environment that stores recordings, transcripts and derived data, and the GPUs that process them, are owned and operated by us. We are a Canadian company, and Canadian hosting is available for customers whose data cannot leave the country.

For customers and partners who need it, we provide segregated instances: a dedicated environment that is not shared with other tenants. Carriers and public-sector bidders will find residency language they can lift on the Canadian data residency page.

The models, and where they run

We do not use frontier models or cloud AI services. Transcription, sentiment analysis, situation summaries and Sonar all run on models we operate ourselves, on GPUs dedicated to GetBettr. Nothing leaves our environment to be processed by a third party.

That is also why we can make the next commitment plainly, rather than pointing you at someone else’s terms of service.

Model training

Customer conversations, transcripts and the data derived from them are not used to train third-party AI models. This is policy, and it applies to every customer on every plan.

PII removal and masking

Before conversations are analysed, a configurable layer can remove or mask personally identifiable information: names, phone numbers, or anything else you specify. It is set per client, so a compliance function can decide what analysts, reports and Sonar are allowed to see.

Tell us your policy and we configure it at onboarding. It can be changed later as your requirements change.

Retention and deletion

Retention is configurable per client and by GetBettr package. Set it to match your own policy, your regulator or your insurer, and change it when they change. Enterprise customers set it themselves.

Subprocessors

Because we run our own environment and our own models, the list of third parties that touch customer data is short. Nobody processes your conversations for AI analysis except us.

Access controls

Certifications and audits

We do not hold third-party certifications today, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. What we offer instead is direct: this page, written to be pasted into a questionnaire; a pre-answered security questionnaire for partners; and straight answers from the people who run the environment, not a compliance portal.

If a specific certification is a requirement for your organisation, tell us. It shapes what we pursue next.

Questions

Security questionnaires and diligence requests go to support@getbettr.ai. Partners can request a pre-answered questionnaire through the partner resources page.
